Sterling Scale

Our standard high capacity scales are
designed for use in steel companies,
foundries, scrap metal , chemical plants
and tank weighing applications. The scales can be
installed on top of the floor or in pits. The platforms
use a minimum of ½" deck plates. Center loaded shear
beam load cells are use for maximum strength. Custom
scales can be built to fit your requirements.

Steel Coil
Scale
Available in
capacities from 20000 to 80000 lbs. The "V"
platform prevents the coil from rolling off
scale. The load cells are center loaded shear
beams which give maximum strength and
durability. The suspension is a link design
which allows the platform to move if side loaded
to prevent damage to the load cell.

Transport Cart Scale
80000 lb.
capacity Pit Scale with built rails for weighing
transport carts of steel bars and coils. The scale is
installed in a pit so the scale platform is ground
level. The cart of steel is moved on to scale to
weigh the steel. Scale was built to customers
specifications to match entry and exit tracks.

Air Cargo
Scale
Includes
10" x 12" platform, 300000 lb. capacity, loading
section and exit ramp with dock leveler.
Transfer balls were installed for air cargo
container to be easily moved on to trucks.
